Class Descriptions

All Levels Hatha Flow

Hatha flow is a style of yoga that focuses on integrating breath and movement. Poses are held to encourage core stability, body strength, and awareness of where your body is in space. Breath links movement and the pace varies throughout the class, starting gently, working towards a more active flow, and ending with a calming sequence followed by savasana. This class is suitable for all levels.

Healthy Aging Yoga

Yoga is well known for improving strength, balance, and mental health. This class targets yoga’s benefits towards the challenges of aging, with specific focus on bone strength and balance. Poses are held for extended periods to actively strengthen bones and muscles. Emphasis is placed on stability and knowing where your body is in space. The principles you learn in this class can be taken into your daily life, to help you move safely and confidently. This class is suitable for students of different abilities and needs.
